OCHEC Capitol Day Registration

Join Us for Capitol Day on February 10
with special guest
Dr. Ben Carson

Why is registration for Capitol Day necessary? There are various events and meetings to coordinate with many different legislators at our state capitol. So by registering, you will help us make this a successful day—both for your family and for the future of homeschooling. In addition, numbers are very important to legislators. Having an accurate account of those in attendance makes a profound and powerful impression. Thank you!

Please register all those attending Capitol Day, including parents, children and guests.

Because of the expected number of attendees, security at the Capitol has asked us to shut down registrations when they reach a certain number. We do not know when that number will be reached so be sure to register early. In addition, we suggest you arrive at the Capitol early in the event we have a overwhelming response.

Tickets for the Legislative Luncheon are available upon registration. Fire codes will only allow a certain number of people on the rotunda so seats are limited. Only those purchasing a hot catered meal for the Legislative Lunch will be able to sit in the designated area.

There will be no on-site registration this year.

Upon arrival at the Capitol, once you are through the Capitol security point, you will be directed where to go to pick up registration packets. Please follow these directions and help us keep the flow of traffic moving away from the entrances.

Capitol Day is a private event, but because it is a public facility, we cannot keep anyone from attending. Let's all work together to keep Capitol Day for the homeschool community and encourage others to attend the gala.
